Ricardo Gallén has premiered numerous works by leading composers and has taken part in a variety of projects under the direction of distinguished conductors including Maximiano Valdés, En Shao, Juan José Mena, Monica Huggett, Leo Brouwer, Jordi Savall, and Sergiu Comissiona.

A laureate of some of the most prestigious international competitions — including the Francisco Tárrega, Andrés Segovia, and Markneukirchen competitions — he has held teaching positions at institutions such as the Mozarteum University Salzburg, the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, The Cleveland Institute of Music, and the University of Music “Franz Liszt” in Weimar.

He has also served as a jury member at major international guitar competitions and is regularly invited to give masterclasses worldwide, where his pedagogical insight is met with great acclaim.
